INTRODUCTION
E816 is a liquid cellulose produced by fermentation of non-pathogenic microflora in water. It can be used for bioprime finishing of cellulosic fabrics -- a novel finishing process.
This agent is suitable for both woven or knitted fabrics. It also has a comprehensive effect in many aspects such as pilling reduction, enhancing colors and softening the hand-feel.

FEATURES
01/
WIDE APPLICATION FABRICS
Suitable for both woven and knitted fabrics, especially for cotton, cotton/polyester blends, linen and ramie fabrics and other fabrics containing cellulose fibers。
02/
MULTIPLE EXCELLENT
PERFORMANCE
It has multiple effects, after this agent treatment, the fabric quality has the following obvious improvement: the amount of pilling/pilling is reduced, the fabric feels softer and smoother, the fabric is more lustrous and the color is more vivid.
COMPARISION
TREATMENT EFFECT
Remove fluff and pellets from fabric surface.
Figures 1 and 2 show the effect of removing fabric fluff and balls.
Figure 1 shows the treatment effect of 100% woven cotton. After treatment with 0.5 g/ L E-816 per liter for 60 minutes, almost all the fluff from the fabric was removed.
Figure 2 shows the change of the removal effect of 100% cotton fabric with time. After about 45-60 minutes of treatment, most of the balls on the fabric are removed.
Fig. 1. Lint removal with E816: the left picture shows the linted fabric and the right picture shows the treated cut surface.
Equipment: Jet dyeing machine (normal speed)
Treatment conditions: 50℃, pH 4.5, 60min.
Enzyme dosage: 5g/kg fabric
Bath ratio: 8 liters/kg fabric
Figure 2. Effect of pellet removal with E816
Fabric: knitted fabric (100% cotton)
Equipment: jet dyeing machine (normal speed)
Treatment conditions: 50℃, pH 4.5
Enzyme dosage: 5 g/kg fabric
HAND FEEL IMPROVEMENT
Figures 3 and 4 show the hand feel effect after E816 treatment.
Figure 3 shows the fabric feel versus time, and there is a significant improvement in fabric feel after 30 minutes of treatment. Figure 4 shows the improvement of fabric softness as a function of time.
Figure 3. Hand feel after treatment with E816
Fabric: knitted fabric (100% cotton)
Equipment: jet dyeing machine (normal speed)
Treatment conditions: 50℃, pH 4.5
Enzyme dosage: 5 g/kg fabric
Bath ratio:8 liters/kg of fabric
Figure 4. Softness after treatment with E816
Fabric: knitted fabric (100% cotton)
Equipment: jet dyeing machine (normal speed)
Treatment conditions: 50℃, pH 4.5
Enzyme dosage: 5 g/kg fabric
Bath ratio: 8 l/kg fabric
FABRIC STRENGTH
The strength of the fabric treated with E816 is shown in Figure 5, with only a small loss of strength after 60 minutes of treatment. The woven fabric (100% cotton) showed only a small loss of strength as did the knitted fabric, and for the woven cotton/polyester blend, this loss of strength was negligible.
Figure 5. Reduction of fabric strength after treatment with E816
Fabric: Knitted fabric (100% cotton)
Equipment: Jet dyeing machine (normal speed)
Treatment conditions: 50℃, pH 4.5
Enzyme dosage: 5 g/kg fabric
USAGE
PROCESS
Typical conditions for biological polishing are as follows:
• Equipment: Jet dyeing machine/high speed rope dyeing machine/industrial washing machine
• Enzyme dosage: 0.3-0.5%(to fabric weight)
• Bath ratio: 5-15 L/kg fabric
• Processing time: 30 -60minutes
• Processing temperature: 45 to 55°C
• pH range: 4.5-5.5
Inactivated: pH can be raised to 10 by adding anhydrous sodium carbonate, or heated to 70°C and kept for 10 minutes.
The process is controlled according to the weight loss of the fabric, and the polishing effect can be better when the weight loss is 3-5%.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
E816 is quite safe to use, it is non-flammable and completely soluble in water, making it safe and reliable. However, enzymes are proteins, and like pollen, inhalation of enzyme dust or suspended particles can cause allergy and may cause allergic reactions in allergic individuals. Please do not come into direct contact with the enzyme preparation during operation. In case of direct contact with the enzyme preparation on the skin or eyes, please rinse with water immediately.
STORAGE
It is recommended that the enzyme be stored in a closed container at 0-25°C (32-77°F), kept dry and out of direct sunlight. This product is formulated for optimum stability. However, over time, the enzyme will gradually lose its activity. Delayed storage or unsuitable conditions, such as higher temperatures or humidity, may result in higher levels of addition.
