INTRODUCTION

DS-220 is a fatty acid imidazoline compound for the soft finishing of cotton, hemp and other fibers and their blends, yarns, etc. It is soft and fluffy to the touch.

USAGE

EMULSIFICATION METHOD
Cold water：
Add 5~10% soft flakes to room temperature water (20-30°C) under slow stirring, stir for a few minutes to make the soft flakes fully dispersed in the water. Leave to soak for 2 hours, then stir until a uniform emulsion is formed. After filtering, it is prepared for use.

Warm water：
Add 5-10% soft flakes to room temperature water with slow stirring and stir for a few minutes to disperse them. Leave to soak for about 1 hour, then heat to about 50°C with slow stirring until a uniform emulsion is formed. Then cool with continued stirring. And after filtering, it is prepared for use.

Notice: This product performs better when dissolved with warm water.

DOSAGE (calculated by 10% water emulsion)
Dipping and rolling method:
20~60g/L. Temperature 30~40°C, one dipping and one rolling or two dipping and two rolling.

Impregnation method:
1~6%(o.w.f), temperature 30~40°C, ratio:1:10~15, 20~30 minutes.
