INTRODUCTION
E805 is an effective amylase for the removal of starchy slurries. It only works on starchy slurries, so it does not negatively affect cellulose compared to oxidative desizing methods.
It can effectively and evenly remove the slurry from the fabric. Guarantee the subsequent fabric treatment to obtain satisfactory dyeing and printing performance.
Desizing enzyme
PAINPOINT
Sizing during weaving protects the yarn from damage. Today's high-speed weaving machines can cause excessive wear and tear on yarns. To ensure weaving efficiency, the amount of sizing has increased, and starch sizing is the preferred sizing for cellulose fibers such as cotton and its blends.
In order to ensure the pre-treatment effect of the fabric and the subsequent dyeing process, the sizing should be removed sufficiently and uniformly. The removal of the sizing polymer guarantees the wettability of the fabric and thus the satisfactory dyeing and printing properties. If the slurry removal is not clean, it will produce uneven dyeing, batch-to-batch color difference and printing defects.

USAGE
FORMULA
E-805 is a concentrated amylase suitable for long-distance transportation. For ease of end user operation and accurate metering, the product can be pre-diluted to any desired vitality between 250 and 2000 NDU/g prior to use.
DILUTION
To ensure the product's storage stability, application effect and microbial stability, the product shall be diluted with a premixed solution containing the following ingredients:
Chemicals |
Content |
Proxel® GXL or LV |
0.2% (w/w) |
high fructose corn syrup |
20% (w/w) |
Table 1. Chemicals used in premixed solutions (all technical grade)
DILUENT COMPONENTS
- Water (preferably chlorine free)
- Sorbitol (100% solid or 70% liquid)
- Proxel® (ProxelGXL or ProxelLV)
- Acetic acid CH3COOH (for pH adjustment)
- NaOH (for pH adjustment)
DILUTION METHOD
1. Prepare a solution containing 20% sorbitol and 0.2% Proxel according to Table 1.
2. Adjust the pH to 6.2-6.8 using diluted acetic acid or sodium hydroxide.
3. Based on the required enzyme activity in the final product, add a calculated amount of E805 to the premixed solution. Stir well while adding the enzyme.
4. Check the pH and adjust to the desired range with acetic acid or sodium hydroxide.
